FOOD
Filoli’s Meadow comes alive late August, framed by the majestic silhouette of its Historic Woodside mansion, and lit with the last rays of summer. Over two vibrant weeks in mid-August—August 17–19 and 23–26—the estate transforms into Summer Stage at Filoli – an open-air amphitheater, welcoming families, couples, and music lovers to relax, sway, and savor the final days of the season.
For culinary options during the shows, enjoy a full menu and sit-down meal at Epicurean Group’s Quail Café, open late until the show starts at 7pm. Or choose one of our new seasonal Picnic Pitas using local, seasonal ingredients, and wrapped in compostable packaging for easy handheld munching. Options include:
- Spicy Mango Mojo Chicken: shredded chicken, sweet mango salsa, cabbage, pickled onion, & jalapeño crema stuffed in warm pita ($17.50)
- Vegetarian Sweet Corn, Cheese & Poblano: sweet corn, cheese & poblano stuffed in warm pita ($15.50)
- Grilled Chicken Caesar Crunch: crisp romaine, grilled chicken, shaved parmesan, crunchy croutons, & creamy Caesar dressing. Served cold. ($17.50)
For the best experience, we recommend pre-ordering Picnic Pitas at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day orders will also be available on-site. Pick up your pre-order – or purchase fresh on the spot – at the Chalet, conveniently located near the stage. Gluten-free options are available too.
During the show, guests can sip on local wines, craft beers, and seasonal cocktails designed to capture the spirit of summer. We’re especially proud to feature regional favorites like crisp whites, chilled rosés, and refreshing local IPAs.

“I’m so excited to see how the food, music, and nature come together during these memorable community experiences. Watching guests enjoy a meal on the lawn as the sun sets over the lush gardens, it doesn’t get better than that.” – Nicole Kiles, Director of Catering and Operations for Epicurean Group
